Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time review

This game is the last game in the Future trilogy. It starts off with Quark explaining what happened at the end of Tools of Destruction. At least you don't have to play TOD now if you don't want to, but I recommended that you do. The premise of the game is that Ratchet must find his buddy Clank. Along the way, Ratchet meets another lombax named Azimuth. He aims to restore the lombaxes to the way they were using the Great Clock. The Great Clock helps keep time intact and Clank is trapped in there.

The gameplay for Ratchet is the same as it has been in the series; Clank's parts are different. His are more puzzle-oriented. I like this a lot better. The puzzles may take some practice but the reward (more bolts) is well worth the time and investment. Space is a lot more fun. There are missions and in order to save Zoni, gather bolts and get constructo mods, you must fly to different planets. Zoni is used to upgrade your ship.

It is a pretty-looking game; very bright and colorful. The same voice actors return to reprise their roles. Trophies for this game are easy. If you are a person like me, who likes to collect everything in these types of games, then the platinum will be a breeze.

If you are a fan of the series, this game is a no-brainer. You have the option to start off on hard difficulty if you are a veteran of the series. It's a fun game with a lot of replay value. This game can be found at a bargain price off Amazon right now. If this is the last game in the main series (R&C: All 4 One not withstanding), then the series went out with a bang.
