Bing Rewards review

Bing Rewards is a program that rewards users for searching on Bing, Microsoft’s search engine.. Normally you earn one point for every two searches. You can earn a maximum of fifteen points per day by searching as well as earning extra points by clicking on daily links. From time to time, promotions are run and extra credits can be earned. One promotion example is that every Monday in March 2014, you can earn 30 points for searching instead of the regular fifteen. The boost in amount of points to get really helps in terms of getting the rewards faster.

There are 3 tiers to the program: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Everyone starts off at Bronze and as you earn credits, you later earn Silver then Gold Status. Upon reaching Gold, everything receives a discount—e.g. instead of a $5 Amazon Card being 525 credits, it is 475 credits when you are Gold—which is a great incentive considering how long it takes to reach Gold (about 3 months or so). To maintain Gold status, you must do 150 searches a month which isn’t a problem if you use Bing as a primary browser and if you are going to complete the maximum daily limit for points earned by searching.

Redeeming rewards is easy as well. Points are deducted for whatever prize you want. In the case of Amazon Gift Cards—generally what I redeem my points for—redeem codes are sent to your email in a few hours. Not counting sites that do instant gift card redemption, this is by far one of the fastest reward programs to give you your rewards as most sites average 1-2 weeks. There aren’t a lot of rewards to choose from—Paypal is missing for one—but you do have an option of a $3 or $5 Amazon card if you desire.

It will take about 3-4 weeks of daily point searching to earn a reward which isn’t too bad given that you have a daily points limit. There are sites in which you can earn rewards much faster but this is ok for what it is. Google had something similar but I don’t know what happened to it. You can connect to Bing Rewards via your facebook account or login via your Microsoft account. I highly recommended this if you are looking for an easy way to earn gift cards but don’t want to use survey or GPT sites.
