Need for Nostalgia

All those people who love compilation games raise your hand. . .exactly. Some do. People love to go back and visit the games that made the industry what it is today. However, for example, if you made a Donkey Kong Collection game with the retro games it featured, more often then not it would be a Gamecube--or upcoming Revolution--exclusive, because, as most know, DK is Nintendo's property, as is Mario. Why not make it available for the PS2 or Xbox as well? All other compilation games are available for "The Big Three", so why restrict a licensed product to its own company? Besides, Gamecube is stuck in the kid range for games and its original gamers have graduated to better games. However companies decide to go, one thing is certain: we want/need more compilation games out in the world. (Besides, think of the money you save.)
