WipeOut HD is a racing game that is downloadable from the Playstation Network, or PSN. This game is more an arcade racer than a simulation racer. The speeds are so fast and when you race at these high speeds, colors will zip by you very fast. There is actually a warning about potential seizures when playing this game and understandably so; I couldn't play for more than two hours at a time without getting a headache. By no means is that a bad thing but it can push you to your limits. The game has single-player, campaign as well as online. When you first play the game though, you may feel intimidated. If you are used to playing games like Gran Turismo, you will struggle mightily in this game. To me, the learning curve is extremely high. Even on novice, the lowest difficulty setting for this game, racing is difficult. However, there are numerous tracks and cars to unlock so if you are willing to practice a lot and win some races, the patience is well worth it. It is not an expensive game($14.99), so if you are looking for a fun game (especially if you have friends that may play as well), pick this one up. Use caution, though, when playing if bright colors can disorient you. Good luck and have fun racing.
