Wii price drop announced

A little while ago, Nintendo announced a price drop on the Wii to $199 (in the States). Considering that Wii sales have been slowing (but are still doing extremely well and dominating the NPDs monthly), this isn't really that bad an idea. Sony did it. Microsoft did it and it's been three years or so since the Wii launched. So now the only question remains: Who, besides me doesn't have a Wii? I plan not to get a Wii because it doesn't appeal to me. Even at the old pricepoint, the Wii was still selling so . . maybe it will sell more. It makes sense but the novelty has worn off and chances are that those people who wanted one probably already have one by now. But Kudos to Nintendo. Now they just need the Wii in different colors and everything will be fine.
