NetFlix on Wii?

It was reported earlier this month that Netflix was coming to the Wii. My thought was why? For a console with no HD support, this really makes no sense. If people only have Wiis, there are other options out there (Doing NetFlix like you normally would sans console is an idea.). It also seems that Reggie Fies-Aimes agrees with me. He pretty much said that Wii owners don't care for NetFlix streaming. Until they decide to put HD on the consoles, NetFlix will not work. And also there are those who own multiple consoles. In this case, why get NetFlix for Wii? (For the Last question, I assume NetFlix, if it comes out, will not be a system update) We will see what happend in regards to this.
