Xbox Live ends support
It was reported by various sources that Live will stop support of the original Xbox in mid-April (April 15 to be exact). This move also affects backward compatible games as well as the Xbox Originals series. To me, this makes sense. Hardly anyone plays the Xbox off and/or online anymore so why support it. Most people should have 360s by this point 5 years into the lifecycle. Before this broke, I just assumed that by now support has ended regardless. Conversely, I expect that if Sony stops PS2 production this year, PSN support on PS2 will die as well. The last game I played online for Xbox was Halo 2 back in 2005. So hurry along and finish your play sessions. You don't have much time left.
