Sega Classics Collection: a great bargain buy

Sega Classics Collection is a compilation of some of Sega's hit video game titles. The titles are Alien Syndrome, Fantasy Zone, GoldenAxe, Tant R, Bonanza Bros., Columns, Outrun, Space Harrier, Virtua Racing, and Monaco GP. This compilation has a variety of game genres. Virtua Racing, Monaco GP and Outrun are racing and Monaco GP is a top-down racer to be more specific. That means that you view the game from an aerial view of sorts. Golden Axe is a game where you pick one of three characters and you go through at least ten stages battling enemies. There have been 2 other games plus a remake that features only the woman. Tant R and Bonanza Bros are grouped together and they both are puzzle like in nature. There's memory puzzles, speed puzzles and other types of puzzles. Columns is a Tetris based game. Or for other people who have played Puzzle Bobble (Bust-a-Move is its alternate name), it plays more like that. In all three games you clear rows using puzzle pieces. In Columns, like Bust-a-Move, you can form a multiplier which in turn multiplies your score. Alien Syndrome is a game in which you destroy waves of enemies while rescuing a certain number of people to unlock the exit for that stage. And to make it even more challenging, you have a certain amount of time to do this. There are also humongous boss fights. Needless to say, this is my 2nd favorite game. My favorite game on this compilation is Fantasy Zone. It is a cute shoot-em-up game, or shmup, and it has the distinction of allowing the player to go backward or forward to destroy the enemy bases. There is a high score list which tracks your highest games. Also in one mode, you play current levels to unlock new ones and unlock a plethora of new weapons and other random stuff. This mode is a practice mode of sorts Whenever you complete a level, coins you earn are saved and are used to unlock stuff previously mentioned. Space Harrier is a game that you as a guy with a blaster in a constantly forward scrolling screen. This game is fun as well Overall this compilation has a lot to offer for a variety of people. It's cheap and from what you get from what it cost to buy, that's a very good deal. If you can still find it, I recommend you buy it.
